Meeting Initiation

The meeting was called to order at 7:40 PM by Vice Chair Arnold Cohen.

Mr. Cohen read the Chair’s Report. He stated that the Board should defer elections of new officers until the full Board is present.

Mr. Cohen welcomed Susan Price as the newly elected Planning Board member.

Form A

Mr. O’Cain presented a Form A regarding the re-subdivision of interior lots 5 and 6 of the Eisenhower subdivision into lots 5A and 6A to accommodate title 5 State Sanitary Code. Mr. Lauenstein moved to endorse the plan as not requiring approval under the subdivision control law. Ms. Sloan seconded the motion. The Board voted 4-0-0 in favor.

Meeting Discussion

Mr. Cohen remarked that we need to work on the Shape Factor Bylaw. Mr. O’Cain volunteered to send Mrs. Price the Shape Factor Bylaw. Mr. Lauenstein said a presentation to the Finance Committee needs to occur.  Mr. Lauenstein also agreed to send Mrs. Price information he has on other towns regarding shape factor. Ms. Sloan, Mrs. Price and Mr. Cohen agreed to work on the Shape Factor bylaw.

The Board discussed Inclusionary Zoning and Mr. Lauenstein said he is willing to work with Mr. Houston on this project. He will review Ms. Cheyer’s proposal regarding Inclusionary Zoning and how to present it to the Town. Mr. Lauenstein will obtain a quote from Mr. Houston for his assistance.

Mr. Lauenstein moved to adjourn the meeting at 8:45 PM and Mrs. Price seconded the motion. The Board voted 4-0-0 in favor.
